From Dust to Glory
A Biblical Study of Man, Death, Resurrection, and the Promised Kingdom
What is man? What happens when we die? What is the soul? Why is there a resurrection? And what does the Bible reveal about humanity's ultimate destiny?
By Elder Bernard Augustin
What Is Man
What is man? What happens when we die? Is the human soul naturally immortal? Where are the dead now? Why is there a resurrection? And what does the Bible reveal about the destiny God has prepared for humanity?
These are not merely theological questions. They concern every human being. From Dust to Glory invites the reader to return to the Scriptures and examine these questions afresh—not beginning with inherited religious traditions, but with the testimony of the Word of God.
Beginning with man's creation from the dust of the ground, the book follows the biblical account through life, death, resurrection, the return of Jesus Christ, His Kingdom, final judgment, and ultimately the restoration of all things.
A Journey Through Scripture
From Dust to Glory follows the biblical story of humanity from creation to final restoration, examining the great questions that connect man's beginning with his ultimate destiny.

Why I Wrote From Dust to Glory
For many years, through Bible study, preaching, teaching, pastoral ministry and counselling, I have encountered questions concerning the nature of man, death, the soul, resurrection and eternal life.
I became increasingly convinced that these questions must not be answered merely by repeating what we have inherited or what we have always been taught. They must be taken back to the Word of God.
From Dust to Glory is therefore an invitation to open the Bible, examine the Scriptures and allow God's Word to speak for itself.
My desire is not simply that you read this book, but that it causes you to search the Scriptures more deeply and to understand God's extraordinary purpose for humanity.
